Patricia Pearson, Executive Vice President. Patricia is an international communicator, entrepreneur and educator, with more than 30 years of experience in business. She has owned five communications companies and sold four; owned, renovated and sold a priory in France; and operated a fashion retail business in England.

Patricia joined The WWW Group as a partner in January 2012, after running her own business in the Portland area for a year. She is a specialist in health care and financial public relations, in addition to consumer and corporate communications.

Patricia has been managing director for Burson Marsteller, the world’s largest public relations company, in Chicago, London and San Francisco. In the late 1990s, she served as president of a local Chicago company that was sold to Publicis Groupe under her tenure. She has worked for several other public relations firms in London and Paris, and speaks French as a second language.

A strong writer, Patricia began her career as an educator and journalist. She has written and published one book, “Life on a French Poster,” about the year she spent renovating and marketing an ancient priory in southwest France in the early 2000s. She has taught English and journalism at both the high school and university levels.

Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and psychology, and a Master of Arts degree in journalism and public relations, both from Ball State University.Married for 31 years to Dan, she enjoys running, hiking/walking holidays, the opera, and spending time with with their two West Highland Terriers.

Dan Pearson, Senior Consultant. A business development professional, Dan has extensive experience in public relations and public affairs, direct sales and marketing, internet commerce, market research, advertising and fundraising. He has served corporate, government and nonprofit organizations as a senior manager and as a consultant, and co-founded marketing businesses in the Midwestern United States and London, England.

Dan headed the health care practice for a leading Chicago-based public relations agency and has worked for global public relations firms, including Porter Novelli, Publicis and Citigate. His clients have included hotels, universities, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, banks, insurers, retailers, health care providers, manufacturers, professional associations and government agencies.

Dan is particularly effective at crafting new product/service launches and directing issues and brand-management initiatives. An accomplished creative and technical writer, he has been published in Forbes, The Chicago Tribune, The Times and other publications. He has co-produced news features for TV, print and the web on topics including cosmetic surgery, hospital infection control, retail fashion, restaurant management and commercial construction. And, he’s proud to have earned his Trip Advisor master blogger designation.

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Butler University and a master’s degree in public relations from Ball State University. He has achieved professional accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators and the National Society of Fundraising Executives. Dan has been an active member of Rotary International for nearly 20 years. He has a soft spot for dog charities and serves on the Board of Junior Achievement of Oregon and SW Washington.

Paul Blenkinsopp, Chief Scientific and Operations Officer, is a career healthcare services and products marketer with expertise in developing both business startups and major international medical device companies. Since 2009 he has been sales and marketing director of Ebiox Limited, a UK-based developer of advanced decontamination technologies for medical markets.

For Ebiox, he has identified and secured distribution in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, negotiating and managing distributor contracts, conducting sales force training and briefing regional healthcare infection control associations. In addition, he led the re-branding of the company including development of a new website and collateral materials. He also has worked in tandem with the firm’s commercial director to manage the strategic direction of the company.

Paul’s professional experience also includes healthcare consultancy. His clients have included several firms launching new products in the surgical and medical device sectors. He also is founder of MedicaPro Limited, a specialist marketer of new healthcare technologies for infection prevention and physical rehabilitation technologies.

For four years Paul was director of marketing for the surgical division of Tyco Healthcare UK (now Covidien) where he supervised training programs for more than 500 clinical staff annually. In addition, he helped create Britain’s first consumer educational website on laparoscopic surgery, worked with the UK Ministry of Defense to provide rapid deployment of medical care to non-combatants, and developed a web-based clinical data service for practitioners in the UK. Also at Tyco, his team produced sales growth in excess of 12 percent annually.

In other sales management roles between 1989 and 1996 he generated record growth for Smith and Nephew Endoscopy and Davis and Geck. He is an accomplished trainer, having published major literature for surgeons and developed course material for a variety of laparoscopic procedures.

Paul’s 14-year nursing career provided the basis for his extraordinary grasp of things medical. He has been an operating theatre manager and a general nurse in psychiatric, orthopedic, neurologic and maxillo-facial specialties. His lifetime spare-time passions include rugby (he is a former player and a qualified coach), sailing, skiing and equitation.
